True. Money can’t buy love.
But could applying some basic accounting principles to your relationship lead to a richer experience of love?
Like money, energy is another form of currency.
Energy is arguably the most pivotal factor in how we live and experience life. A healthy relationship takes considerable energy to establish and maintain, and yet so many people are dependent upon their relationship or their partner to provide them with the energy needed for living.
If this is the case in our relationship…
we’re bound to come up short at some point.
Signs of energy problems in a relationship include:
One partner trying to resolve the other’s problematic mood (because it is affecting their mood);
Experiencing a sense of injury or threat when a partner gives valuable or important feedback;
One partner expecting the other to meet all their needs, or on the other hand, having difficulty with communicating needs in appropriate ways (or at all);
Feeling drained, exhausted, resentful, deeply hurt, or profoundly worried after an argument, and not knowing what to do about it; and
Feeling as though your relationship has become stagnant.
NOT A TYPICAL WORKSHOP
The Currency of Love is not for people looking for superficial tips on better communication skills or a list of pointers like, “Be sure to make time for yourself,” and, “Schedule a date night.”
THIS WORKSHOP IS ABOUT EXPLORING WAYS TO HEAL AND PREVENT HARMFUL ENERGY PATTERNS IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP
We look at how practical ideas associated with wealth management - when combined with modern psychology and a mythic perspective on love, soul, and purpose - might yield a practice for managing our vital energy in a way that enriches our lives with a sense of abundance that flows out into our relationship.
