Inspired by a dream, “As the Earth Goes Turning” is a modern mantra recognizing the musicality in Nature’s rhythms and Humanity’s connection to the Earth. The easy-to-learn melody is presented in unison and sung as a round before being developed into several layered variations, which can be mixed and matched as desired. The concluding vamp tapers down into a final heartfelt unison — “We’ll be home soon.”

Lee is currently working on a realized piano part. The vocal parts are currently ready for any ensemble with a pianist comfortable working from a lead sheet.
