Under One Sky

SSATB w/ solo, piano, rhythm section, string quartet, and pitched percussion

“Under One Sky” was written during the fall of 2020. Solicited raw lyric ideas from singers in Pittsburgh Youth Chorus, Lee crafted a song with evokes the sky as a image of connection, unity, and belonging — a common canopy under which we all dwell. The song begins as a pop-style ballad, makes a shift into a buoyant cinematic interlude, and evolves into a celebratory anthem.
