Eclipse season is upon us and things have already started to speed up (think Fauci, democratic socialism in the primaries, and the shooting in Thailand). On Saturday, Mercury will form an auspicious conjunction with Jupiter in Leo; this same alignment almost took place in Cancer on June 29, but Mercury went retrograde before the meetup was complete. We might expect whatever optimistic (Jupiter) announcements and agreements (Mercury) which unfold to be unapologetically bold (Leo) compared to the more relational, feel-good tone (Cancer) we were hoping for in June.

This positive conjunction won’t happen, however, until Mercury throws a microphone in front of Pluto, the planet which prefers to keep its fearful and formidable uses of power unseen and unheard. We might expect disclosures regarding issues otherwise kept in the dark – sex, power, money, and the forces of nature we tend to ignore until they upend our life.
